Coming in at $299 for the 320gb bundle with Uncharted 3, the newest incarnation of the Playstation console is probably near the top of your nerd’s wishlist(assuming they don’t already have one). With Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim having just been released, a new Playstation could be a godsend for the gamer on a budget. With blu-ray capabilities, a great collection of games, HDMI output and the ability to stream both Netflix and Hulu Plus, this could be the gift to end all gifts.

Finally, for those of you who know a photography fiend, The Canon EOS Rebel T3 comes in at $489. Capable of taking 12.2 megapixel pictures, this entry level DSLR will be sure to please. The Rebel T3 is a great way for the amateur photographer to begin experimenting with digital photography. Capable of using all of Canon’s EF and EF-S lenses, investing in a Rebel means that you have the ability to upgrade your camera without buying new lenses in the future. While $489 might seem steep for a Christmas present, the quality is unsurpassed at the price point.
